No date would have been awesome, but I’m probably in minority.
I just wonder why the AD said they will keep it in exhibition for a good while before allocating to anyone.

I was told that because it is a “rare” or more “limited” model, Rolex is keeping more control over these models. They are required to keep it on display for 90 days before allocation.
Who knows how true any of it is? This was not my AD so I don’t know what they tell the tire kickers passing through?

How is this different than a titanium "submariner"?

This one exists. At least in the catalogue.

“Tire kickers”
I hear you, and perhaps it’s reasonable for Rolex to actually make them do that. But as you say, we can’t tell. Nonetheless, thanks for that info and the great wrist shot. I hope your allocation comes through from your AD in reasonable time.

It’s not, really. Although the case does sit so perfectly on my skinny, flat wrist. Maybe that is why I love it.

I really like it, it's the price I have a problem with. Titanium watches don't typically increase the cost that much, at least with other brands.

Skinny flat wrist here as well. 12 series sub works, I think the 11 would not on me.

Still don't want. IMO it's the Pelagos of the Rolex catalog.

Mate has one but I’ve never been a Yachtmaster fan (I’ve owned 3) per se and whilst it’s nicely balanced it’s not a watch I’d look to get allocated and my understanding is that most AD’s will only see 1/2 a year at most.

My 11 works, but my wife’s YM is in a different league of comfort when it sits on my wrist. Just wish I could buckle it on.
