This is my current trio and while I'm still trying to add some color to the collection, I love the diversity it offers. 3 classic models, 3 different dials and bezels, and 3 different bracelets.

Great collection and love the watch stand - where'd you pick that up?

Thank you sir! Actually it’s a cheap stand I found on eBay for like $17. Search for jewelry stand or watch stand and most will be round but I looked for the flat one and it works very well.

All Rolex would be ok too (16610, 16600, 16710) but if not... then this.

I wouldn’t break it down in the way the OP suggests, I’d want one diver, one GMT/Dual Time and one Chrono... so;

If I were to whittle down my current collection it would be;

1) Pepsi.
2) White Ceramic Daytona
3) DSSD JC

If it were my perfect collection right now it would be

1) Patek 5164r rose gold dual time
2) Daytona Ceramic yellow gold champagne dial black sub-dials
3) DSSD JC

If I was to answer tomorrow, I might change the JC to 116600 I like them both so much!

Realize I’m on the wrong forum as an Omega enthusiast. However, while I’m waiting on my first Rolex, these are the 3 I’d pick out of my current collection if I had to cut down.

1) First gen Planet Ocean with the 2500D co-axial movement.
2) Vintage Seamaster from 1948 with bumper movement.
3) Vintage Speedmaster Pro with 861 movement.

Hey!

1. The day watch: SS Aquanaut with the army green dial
2. Dress-down timepiece: Can't go wrong with a sub-date!
3. The dress watch: Lange Saxonia with aventurine dial :0

I have pretty much decided on a Rolex trio collection, a g-shock, and eventually a haute horology dress watch down the line.

I have 2 of the Rolex so far: 16710 GMT Master II and 116400 Milgauss Z-Blue. Although too large, I can't get the JC out of my head and I want a diver back in the collection. I am heavily leaning towards this to complete the trio.

My G-Shock is my gym watch. Perfect beater and true tool. Don't care if I throw it across the room or it bangs on something. It is just there to do a job and it can take it.

1. The day watch: Rolex Cellini

2. Dress-down timepiece: BLNR

3. The dress watch : Day-date president Gold

It would be hard to just keep it to three though if I had unlimited funds. A friend of mine showed me his hulk and now I feel like I couldn't not have one later in my collection. Same goes for a speedmaster, its an iconic chrono! If I had to pick three though, that'd be them!
