Incredible photos guys ... I just spent the night and this morning reading this thread, and it’s got me wondering whether I should be adding one.

Does anyone know the weight?
Also would be curious to know the lug to lug dimensions.

If anyone can assist that would be great

I had the Polar last year and was stunning, however, I guess what they say about white wearing/looking larger, at least for me, was very true and I never got comfortable with the "size"

Fast forward to this year and I tried the Black dial and well, you guessed it, black wears/looks smaller than the white and even at the exact same size looks perfect to me.

Optical illusion, weird science or just plain sorcery - I love the black dial

Lug to lug is 50mm. End link to end link is 53mm. It wears larger than a 42mm watch for sure.

Thanks so much! Good old Tim Mosso

I enjoyed the review as well.

Any idea on the weight? The size seems perfect, especially the height

So we were talking about differences in typeface on the dials from batch to batch. I had a call from my AD yesterday, after a year on the waiting list, they finally had a brand new 216570 for me (with no buying history).

Unfortunately during the wait I got a little impatient (AD, being non committal and heavily hinting that I wouldn’t ever get one unless I bought the lower models first) and bought my original 216570 near new from a reputable Swiss boutique here in Melbourne. Putting my brand new 2020 next to my 2018, and a 2018 of a friends Dad, it’s clear that there were changes somewhere. The Rolex, the crown etc all look different from the older ones to the new one. New one is on the left.

Anyway, I now have an immaculate near mint 2018 216570 for sale in any case 😂
