the Platona seems to me to wear larger than my previous Daytona's? may be the brown bezel?

I agree with you, Tom. I saw the Platona in person recently and it does look or wear larger than "regular" Daytonas. I'm thinking it's optical illusion from the ceramic bezel. Congrats again, my friend.

Please note that the Pt Daytona has the wider case, as the WG on bracelet and all the leather models.
