All it needs is a date function and I’d be all over it. To hell with tradition.

We live in an era where being a scientist is not that cool. So a scientist watch is not either.

I think the main problem with them for some folks is they are not easily identified as a Rolex by non-watch folks. Tons of folks know the SUB (even though these days there are so many copies it is hard to be sure at first glance) and most casual watch folks can spot a OP or Explorer, etc. The Milgauss is weird. It is sort of the Rolex for the guy who loves Rolex but wants something offbeat. I don't think it was ever destined to be a mainstream choice.

Haha. At least you are the person the product was designed for. I am sure most explorer owners are probably not exploring anything other than new restaurants.

No problem with the Milgauss, main or otherwise. Nothing weird about it either.

I did get the clear sapphire black model so mine isn't quite as wild as some, but I like it. I was a little worried because people kept saying it was heavy, thick etc. Coming from Omegas (Speedmaster, Seamaster, Aqua Terra and a few SINN watches, it doesn't seem big at all.

Pics please?

Rolex does not make a Milgauss with a sapphire case back.

I meant clear sapphire black dial. LOL. I may or may not have been drinking maker's mark when I typed that.

I definitely mean the good kind of weird. Other than the Air King Rolex is pretty conservative.

I like it. It's just like the Air King 116900. Something different from the norm. I prefer the ZBlue. Waiting on what's showing up at Baselworld in 2020..

I am surprised they brought it back honestly....it was never a popular model.

Like the watch, dislike the price point relative to other options.

Would like to see them bring back the rotating bezel.

Correct.. The only difference is the dial and that the center link on the Milgauss is polished and the AK is brushed...

I love music and computers. Both have lots of magnets. I love PCL's. Totally makes it a dressier watch. It makes me laugh when people where a Sub with suit. Are you going swimming in the punch bowl?

I absolutely love my Z blue, it is on par with my Daytona. Its my go to watch, I can star at the dial for long periods.

I think some people think the orange zig-zag second hand is gimmicky. I like it though. Adds a little zest to a watch that is otherwise pretty understated.

I think it’s the name of the watch “Milgauss” just doesn’t sound appealing. The watch itself is very nice looking aside from the orange thunderbolt second hand.

The idea behind the concept of the Milgauss design is a watch model to "honor science".
So, I've always thought the Milgauss to be a great watch for anyone into science, medicine etc...

I hate the second hand. Also it’s heavy. And it’s claim to fame is no longer that impressive.
