46.

I simply never gave a damn about watches until recently. I bought an Omega Seamaster in 2017 as a b-day present to myself and was left underwhelmed and wanting something nicer so I bought a new Submariner. That led to an Explorer purchase a few months later.

Now I'm eying an Explorer II polar. Stop the madness.

30. Picking up my OP 36 on Saturday.
A watch at the occasion of the birth of my daughter. The plan is to pass it down to her when she graduates.
What other choice than a timeless (at least to my eyes) rolex.

When I was in my late 30’s I told my self that I was going to give my self a Rolex when I was 45 as long as certain financials goals were accomplished. I was blessed with opportunities that allowed me to reach my goals before I turned 43 and I bought my Milgauss.

53.

I hadn't worn a watch for 21 years (since 1997, when I scratched the face off my F-91W climbing down the drainpipe on a pebbledash house in Bangor, N Wales).

I fancied a really nice watch, had a bit of spare dosh, so bought myself a Rolex earlier this year. Very pleased with the decision so far, although I now need to get another one for my other son to inherit. I'm thinking 14060M two-liner, but do like 36mm as a size...

That all resonates so much with me, as I suspect it does with many on here. Not even a year ago I cared little and knew nothing about watches. Now this!

22 my college graduation present was a DJII. 3 years later I flipped it for a subc. One year after that I flipped the subc for a DJ41. Hoping to add back a sub or blnr within the next year.
