Rainbow Daytona Availability?

Does anyone have any leads on a Rainbow Daytona? (ref. 116595RBOW)

Would love to purchase one for my wife's bday coming up as she's in love with the watch! Was told that Rolex is currently not taking any orders for it, so wanted to see if the community has seen any at ADs recently worldwide.

Please PM me if you have any leads. Thanks in advance TRF for your help!

You do realize the market value of this watch is probably around $250k?

Yea, MSRP is not an option here. Not something an AD keeps on the books.

Specialized limited production piece. I think they all gone from the Ads. Only grey market at 225k-250k.

I believe that's why the OP is looking for AD that can get it for MSRP. :)

Thanks guys, not looking to resell. Just trying to find one at an AD at MSRP and not pay huge markups (similar to many of us who don't want to pay markups for SS Daytona, Pepsi, BLNR, etc.)

I know it's probably a huge stretch at this point, but wanted to try my luck and see if anyone out there has seen one for sale recently. Thanks!

Maybe try a Rolex Boutique. They may have access to the inventory at all the boutiques.

There’s one new one sitting unsold on 5th Av & 48th St NYC at $272K - not an AD, though.

That is a premium but you might get it under the cost of MSRP at an AD + tax at about $267K.

Thanks, but this is the YG version released in 2012. I’m looking for the RG one (116595RBOW) Rolex released at Basel 2018.

The one I found is RG and that’s why it was more.

Didn’t they only make 20 of these? By far the hardest in production Rolex to find at MSRP.
I gave up.

Here is my version of the Rainbow Daytona. When held in the right beam of sunlight, I can magically transport my 116505 thru a wormhole and waah-lahh.

Pseudo Rainbow RG Daytona

Dealers must be salty, selling them for €95k MSRP and knowing that these people probably immediately make 150k by re-selling it to a grey...

I highly doubt this watch can be found msrp at an AD. All gone. Use the money for a yacht in Monaco, much better luck than finding this unicorn.

Not a single AD will sell you this at MSRP anyway.

Who in their right mind is going to throw away $150k in potential profit? No a single sane person.

ironic, that its "insane" to sell at MSRP when discussing a watch in an abstract way because hardly anyone here will buy something that expensive to begin with. Selling a SS watch at MSRP is expected and if they don't the pitchforks come out because people are actually going to try to buy those. Just saying

Selling at retail, a big AD leaves more money on the table than that every year, just on SS daytonas. So i doubt the rainbow daytona is any different for a good AD who already sells everything else at retail.
