I could settle for either one. Both great watches for sure. If I had to choose one, probably would go for the jubilee bracelet since my watch is on oyster.

To me they both look great honestly. I’d be happy with either one!

I bet it's the Oster bracelet.

A true "heavy lifter" vs a true "core utility" watch. Enjoy them. they are both remarkable.

Both are real real nice, but the WG is the one for me. Do they still make the WG with the blue face or is only come in the meteorite?

WG all day. The bezel font looks thicker on the SS.

Sorry just seeing this. YEs, SS 126710 with 116710 PCL bracelet. The fit is perfect. No gaps, no wiggle, totally secure and looks great. The spring bars don't always click in with that satisfying "pop" so you have to make sure they're fully seated and occasionally you have to manually slide them into place, but once they're in it's 100% secure.

See response above for more details. But this is from a 116710 bracelet.

I still think the Bezel difference is from large-scale batch effects, rather than MK variants, but boy oh boy I would love to have one in WG to match the SS like OP!

Love the WG warmness but it is too heavy for my taste, I settled for the 126710 BLRO and wear it on a Sub bracelet (no polished center links).

You heard it here... The WG Pepsi is going to go down as one of the best watches of this era.

Shorter run, and the way it wears is just perfect.

Two extraordinary watches but for me, precious metal aside, I have no love for gold of any color, so I choose only SS models (SS Daytona, SS Sub and SS BLRO...). As far as bracelets, I have and like both. I have to admit that the new jubilee is one of most comfortable I’ve ever had to wear on my wrist.

Stainless steel Pepsi with stainless steel oyster bracelet from a 116710

For me, this is the absolute perfect watch to end all watches . . .

Love the blue on the WG bezel! Which bracket to you prefer? I have always leaned more towards the Jubilees.

WG Pepsi GMT II w/Blue Dial

I really like both the SS and WG Pepsi models. Was lucky enough to acquire the WG Pepsi with blue dial recently. The WG gives the watch a lot of heft. Seems much larger than a 40mm watch when on the wrist. Sure it has to do with the weight. It is, however, very nice to wear. Definitely now have one of my grails!

Interesting second picture is same watch under IR lighting. Read an article on how Rolex completely coats the new ceramic bezel with the "lighter color", red in this case, and then the "blue" on half of the bezel. Probably why the blue looks lighter in color, and maybe even a bit purple in color as it has a base color of red. IR light only shows the "original red" color from the first application.

Cheers!

I think I would prefer the SS as jubilee and SS is a very comfortable combo. But I can understand an appeal of having a heavier watch looking like SS to most people.

Love seeing them side by side for the first time in a photo like this!

I think I am in the minority, but I really like the Jubilee bracelets better...so much more comfortable IMO.

Hoping for a WG Pepsi w/Jubilee as a 2020 release!

I recently had some TRF members explain why some prefer white gold over SS when both watches have a similar look and I must say I have a renewed interest in white gold...

I have owned the WG GMT and it is a great watch but it did not stay in the collection very long as I found it to not fit with my expectations of a PM watch. Same thing for the Smurf and I am a huge fan of Rolex divers. Collecting and owning is different for everyone and while I own a Platinum DD II which is white metal, I have a hard time with WG. Value is not the right word but for the money involved I want more flash or bang. I also own a YG DD II and a YG Submariner and do not have the same thoughts on those watches as I do WG watches. I own the current SS Pepsi on Jubilee and love it. Great looks, comfortable bracelet and the colors are strong. It is not worth the extra money to me for a very similar look. For others, with different tastes, it works. If I came across a WG, blue dial GMT for what I thought was a fair price I might jump, you never know.
