Very cool watch, I love the robustness and sportiness that meld with the dressiness.

This is one of the things that has made me feel like I was financially irresponsible when trading a gold IWC for 25% of what I paid 4 years later.
Two points I’d make:

1) this isn’t one I bought with a view to what it’s future value was. I bought it because I love it. I don’t plan to sell it.

2) I don’t think you can compare these current Cellini models to older ones. The new ones are so different and so much more robust. These models are in oyster cases, have more traditional design language and to me are more mainstream. I wouldn’t compare the old Cellini models to these.

Seems like there is always one at my AD. I stop in my tracks to take a look every time.

I wonder why the Cellini's just don't get their due.
$26K for a gold Rolex, meteorite on the full moon, 39mm is a nice in-between size, seems like a good value. Surprised to hear they may lose so much value on the back end. Looks like a dress watch to me.

Such an amazing, under appreciated watch. I like GADA watches personally but the Cellini moonphase is a piece of art.

I looked at one, liked it but was turned off by the very poor quality stitching on the band.

Mine is perfect to be honest. I certainly wouldn’t let that deter you...just ask the AD to order you a brand new strap that is in better shape.

An incredible watch and absolutely beautiful. Sources say no longer being manufactured. Could be the last Rolex Moon phase for a very very long time.

people are falling over themselves and paying double retail for steel sports models when they are missing true quality and art in the Cellini moonphase

the moonphase without a doubt will be worth huge money in the future
these are special complications

I have this watch and my crystal ball tells me they will be discontinued soon and also tells me expect to see the price much higher in the future

that being said I bought it cause I respect the art of the watch and not the hype of chasing rainbows and flipping crap

Lovely watch but can’t get past the hands being too short.

I have bee contemplating tis watch for a very long time. Now part of the collection. Needs to be seen in the metal to fully appreciate. I have a PP World Timer and Lange 1815. I have to say this is now my favorite. Simply put....
Absolutely a beautiful and striking watch.
