5164R new look

Saw some users with the navy band on the rose and thought why not, waited for this strap (5650 for those interested) for a bit, but think it was worth the wait! I will say that I thought that the color would be a little brighter blue, but the subtleness is what Patek is all about.

I like it!

How did you manage to source the blue strap. My AD has told me flat out 'no', Patek does not allow it unless you own the 5650
Seems very dictatorial to me, why not allow collectors to enjoy their watches with different colour straps if they choose to?

That will work as the strap is so dark blue it's black half the time, wish they had a lighter one or rather the khaki in regular production for current owners.

had to sweet talk my AD quite a bit. I wasn't actually even sure I was going to get it until I got the call that it came in.
