Help Rolex 6263

Hello everyone! I’m trying to buy a Rolex Daytona 6263 and I found one @ Chrono24, it looks too cheap to me, is there anything I’m missing here?

https://www.chrono24.com/en/rolex/da...US&SETCURR=USD

Thank you so much!

When buying a 6263, why bother with Chrono24? Its essentially craigslist for watches. Contact one of the vintage dealers out there like HQ milton.

Buying a $56,000 watch outside the USA is a huge gamble if it goes south...and it will if it can. You will get zero help from law enforcement authorities there.

These watches are heavily altered and counterfeited. I've seen incorrect and fake watches even being offered by reputable dealers here in the USA.

I would find a bona fide expert before putting down any money on one of these particular models - and being a big name trusted dealer does not make you an expert on 6263s - especially with all counterfeit parts/watches being sold.

As far as Chrono 24 goes, as we say here in Texas - it's a recipe for failure.

not everything in Texas is recipe for failure.... OK, I live in Austin, and we're as close as you can get to failure but still floating (so far). it is NOT helping that bunch of California geeks (I'm a geek, since I previously worked at IBM, Moto, Freescale, AMD, etc.) are coming here and ruining Texas.

yes, at that price, you would be stupid to shell out the money without feeling and experiencing the watch

Watch in question is completely serviced out. Service replacement dial, hands, pushers, and bezel.

not to mention these images are a pile of shit, what exactly is he selling, I cant tell....if the seller can't supply hi-res quality/detailed images of the watch...then don't waste your time.

My first comment was about Texas and Austin (as Austin is not part of Texas) and people form Texas know that.

My second comment was about Chrono24 - quality and prices on that site. It's often way over priced and often more dangerous to buy from them then other more common sites which are protected by paypal

but, maybe I misunderstood the comment, if so, please help

my apologies to everyone. yes, "as they say in Texas"... he's right.

I took it a little closer to heart as I care about 'good texas' and why people LOVE Texas and why it's being destroyed by people from California moving to Texas for cheaper housing, no state income tax, business friendly, etc. - and once settled DESTROY everything that is good. I hate to see a great state turn into another POS California.

Sorry to bring up local issues on the board - but it's too close to home.

I understand your passion for Texas - but don’t think our California member’s home State will appreciate your moniker of POS.

Best to just say Texas is great to you. No need to denigrate anyone else’s home.

This may be how you feel, but it doesn't make it true.
