Life's Short.... New Series 12 GMT BLNR!

Everyone says "Life's short, better enjoy each day God gives us..." Nothing like having a cancer scare and going in for tests having a procedure done and then thankfully getting a clean bill of health - knowing that by the grace of God it could have gone the other way. So I was on the waitlist at my local AD - and who knows when you might ever, if ever get that "call". So I just decided to go and get the dang watch whatever the cost. DavidSW had my watch, yes it was at a premium but I had purchased a few others from DavidSW in years past. So damn the torpedoes to the bank account - full steam ahead!

Oh one other thing, just got watch today. My son left for a vacation in Italy yesterday and I set the bezel to Central Europe Time - and now everytime I look down at the watch I see what time it is in Italy and think of my son. Kind of cool.

Really happy with the GMT, wears much smaller than my former 42mm 216570 Explorer II and the Jubilee was the right choice. Wow, it is nice.

My favorite watch (of all brands) — currently wearing mine (oyster though). Congrats, but most importantly, big congrats on the clean bill of health!

Congrats OP! I was fortunate enough to add the same reference last year and I’m thrilled with it too! Enjoy it in the best of health, and happy to hear the cancer was just a scare!
