I like Omega (I've owned several), but I really hope they bring back a Submariner for the next Bond. Perhaps the not-yet-released ceramic model.

Glad you all enjoyed the link
@ RedBaron, only time will tell. That would be pretty cool and Daniel Craig loves Rolex. |

Pretty interesting........... but a few years isn't really much "history".............
In any event... I don't know if we will ever see Rolex back on the Bond Screen.. They never paid for any advertisement and now-days it's all about buying screen time... Rolex philosophy is still that they will not pay for ad placement.. Omega is just the opposite and spends a lot to be seen in Bond movies; even for TV spots like NCIS, to make sure their watches get lots of exposure....

in light of your post above, Larry, my comment: must be nice to be rolex, or as Mel Brooks might say, 'it's nice to be the King.'

Yeah I know, only been a few years Yeah the Submariner used in the old Bond movie(s) belonged to the director / producer or someone (can not rememebr exactly). Rolex being as big, well known and established as they are seems unlikely to pay all the money for their watches to be back on James Bond's wrist. Omega is trying pretty hard with the Olympic Timekeeping (and the stuff you listed plus more) to spread the word and become more recognized like Rolex. |

Lotus, James Bond Lotus
Have exchanged eMails in the past w/ the guy who runs this site. Did anyone here go to his root directory to connect the dots?
Connection via a second or third generation Lotus Esprit, a'la Roger Moore era James Bond films. I suggested a couple of SEIKO models he should be covering, by model number!
