Thank you

Thank you all guys for the kind words.. glad you liked it... 3 hours sleep and i made it to the office.. this is the hardest painting i have done and took me 6 nights.. any other painting 1 ore two nights but not this one...it took 6 nights sometimes till 4am... 2 days of researching and planning.. 2 days of testing.. trying diffrent techniques.. and two days of executing..

The hardest part was the dial.. in water color this kind of detail is not normally done.. it is made t be hazy and very rough around the edges.. unlike a Panerai Dial... to achieve the effect in water color was very hard work.. but the result is quite nice.. there is no escape from the centre of attention... it draws you to the dial and its striking contrast.. the case on the other hand was easier with a semi hazy semi defined bridging to the straps in the background which are hazier and less detailed....

I know nothing about art but that looks very impressive and professional, I like it, actually I like it lots and lots - amazing talent I can't even draw a stick man !

I think you should be careful though Zed - you may be getting asked this question a few times "do you do commissions ?" :-)

Brilliant

Thank you Steve.. Commission... WHY NOT!... i think i know what can be a problem....
6 days for 1 painting!!!!!!!! how much will it have to be???
I paint when wife and kids are not here... this is a couple of months a year...
and then... i have to stay sober...... for all that time... thats another ..

Realisticlly i may be able to knock about 6 or 8 a year... which is ok......

now just for the sake of argument .. (or just to boost my ego)... realisticlly.. how much would any risti pay for something like this????

I think a WIS painting should be quantified by something us Risti's could easily understand and a global currency.

Now, I am totally biased but I think you could fetch on the open market to the right Risti at least: 3 Jules Vernes, 1 OEM MX, 1 New Style OEM Rubber, and at least 1 OEM deployant...

Cheers again Zed for a beautiful piece.

After a gathering over lunch and much chit chatting we have come up with an estimate between £75 ---> £150 GBP.

We are all none art formists so I have no idea if that is reasonable or not but from an outsiders point of view thats our best guess ?

Its my newish girlfirend who is a Benzoni collector (bit more art savy) so I will try and gage a price from her when I can get hold of her !

Cheers

Sonic

Zed, beautiful artwork.

Guys, you don't understand how much those paints cost nowdays!

Zed, I would suggest pricing the original artwork for premium, and sell laminated print copies at lower cost so you'd get nice revenue for your efforts. The possibilities are endless.

yes guys.. paint is not cheap... it cost 150usd for special material just for thois piece...

Now we are talking.. prints..thank you mate... what a brilliant idea..... i think i can make 50 prints (limited edition top quality .. keep the tradition...) and sell each for 50usd.. that will be 30cost +20profit.. sounds brill... after one year i can finance another PAM......
