I have one too and I absolutely love it. The only annoyance I have is I find that the pointy end of the clasp rubs against the gold cap on one of the bracelet links (I think I can also see that on one of your links in the picture) so I put on a leather NATO for now I really like it on the NATO.

Great review! I was considering the S&G but decided to go with my first love, the BBR :)

Bought one last Saturday. This watch is stunning in person and I like that it’s slightly bigger than a submariner.

I had never considered a TT watch until reading your review. Now I'm seriously tempted by the S&G. Thanks for your great review.

Does anyone know if the hands and hour marker surrounds are 18k gold?

Its a great looking piece, great review too.
I have one too, running with leather strap and nato currently.
But gee the bracelet sure looks pretty fine too. The tone of the gold is just right.

Are the end links solid gold? I think it’s a great looking watch and the addition of the date makes it different to my BB58.

The end link is. Bezel is. Crown and mid links are not sold. They are capped.

These are beasts, but the S&G is the one I would go for. A beauty!

I had a crunch on the exact model last week, was quite hard to leave the AD without buying it.

What make the cons were :
- thickness, really, why so thick ?
- lug, too big for my taste
- date, would prefer without it

Beside that I've like the original BB58 that fit better my wrist but without the additonal warme tone.

Would love to see a 39mm version so I'm waiting on 2021 before choosing between the original BB58 or the lovely S&G 41mm.

Incredible to see what Tudor accomplished over the last year !

The S&G look is great however I am not sure how durable the gold capping is, e.g. how would it look like in 5 years?

it can take like 13 polishes rolex says. Ive had mine 3 plus years and no issues. the capping is quite thick.

it is thicker on nato. i bought it on strap but it came with a free nato back then when tudor used to give you two straps. never used the nato.

While waiting for a Sub to arrive (actually got on the list at the AD even though a first timer there), I stopped by the AD again last week looking to pick up a 1926 as my first luxury watch. My wife was with me and convinced me to go outside my normally conservative comfort zone. So glad she did, I absolutely love this watch on the aged leather strap.
