Yes, Golfpunk deserves a refund.

I would suggest you do you own ebay selling next time to prevent any future headaches.

Someone asked where the strap is now but it wasn't answered.

So I ask again: Where is the strap now?

Dear me...it was a joke hence the emoji animation. It was in reaction to your joke ‘and GP responds in 3...2....’

On its way back to me from Australia, it still hasn’t arrived yet.

Then my fault, I thought you were being serious, as I was only poking fun as well

Ok, so you started this thread and also asked for a refund before you even had it back in your possession?

FYI this is not a joke emoji and is not percieved as such.

Very bizarre behaviour. What if you never receive the strap, or its in a condition different to the one the TRF seller shipped? Can't expect him to refund in that case. Little too much cart before horse here.

I have refunded the eBay buyer as from my pictures my wife took, it is clear that it’s the same strap. Even if the strap gets lost in transit, the buyer still needs a full refund. The same as I should receive a full refund.

What is the problem with some of you, you’re like school yard children ganging up on people.

Jesus Christ !!!

This thread is crazy! lol I feel you OP, if I got ripped off i'd be PO'd too... you cant go back in time so i'll save the "what you should've done is..." speech and just leave it be. Being this is a forum and you are buying from other members and not buying from a business, kinda hard to demand a refund. I get it to most $150 isn't a lot, to me it is, but at this point I would just let it go... And trust me, i'm a big believer on the being about the principal of the matter and not the dollar figure. This post I think will get across in the same sense. A lot of members, myself included, will now be less inclined to purchase from tcheeco...

Problem with us?

Normal procedure is you complain to your seller, then send the item back to him and then you get your refund.

No ones 'ganging up'. There's a normal way to handle situations like this and its not this way.
Wait until the strap is in your hands then file a dispute with your CC or Paypal. They will see the photo evidence and you'll get your refund once you return the strap to the original seller. Simples.

I’m well aware of how to deal with situations.

There is also a little thing called ‘doing the right thing’.

As soon as I found out my buyer had a faulty/damaged strap, I didn’t wait for it to be returned, I refunded him and at the same time I reached out to the TRF seller, who CLEARLY is not an honest/fair seller as I am.

Not as easy as that....it took ages to reach me from the seller (hence nevselling my AP in the meantime) and she’s for it to arrive in Australia. It still isn’t back with me.

I paid friends and family so no PP recourse but you only get so many days to file a dispute.

Let me get this right!

Are you saying the seller won't refund you after you send it back to him?

You would of got 6 months to file a dispute paying normally. For future reference.

He’s not responding very often at all, and is insisting his strap was fine so either me or my buyer have switched it. He offered a part refund of €20 without accepting responsibility.

Fair enough me think as I owe you nothing. If you’re driving this shitty thread just to put shit in my name, please do, I’m out. It’s something you could do when you got the strap, it’s easy to blame your wife or to use her as an excuse.

My only question to the OP , why have your wife sell the strap on ebay without even seeing it yourself? She's never even listed anything before What's the hurry? You couldn't wait until you got home from your business trip? And couldn't she tell it wasn't "new with tags" as she listed it. Sounds strange.

Thanks for the lecture....Indid what I did, fact is I didn’t know it was damaged, it was. I have refunded my buyer because I’m honest

The TRF seller clearly is a VERY dodgy man. Bang out of order and as with all scammers, they aren’t local. I wish he was as I’d knock on his door and I guarantee I’d get my money back.

Lots of brave men hide behind a keyboard.

FAO MODERATORS:

Now you can see that the evidence is incontrovertible, are you allowing this seller to remain on this forum and still sell his items, including AP straps????

I'm not defending the seller in any way as I think he's in the wrong as much as you are but if they let you stay then he should be allowed as well.

I beg your pardon??? What on earth have I done wrong???

As soon as it was brought to my attention I refunded my buyer in full and I still haven’t got the strap back?

On what grounds should I be banned???

Are you feeling ok today Mon???

Trading on these forums is largely based on trust. Trust that I will pay and not lodge a chargeback, trust that I will receive the item as described and will be a reasonable buyer, trust that I will describe properly what I have sold and if for some reason I have not and made a mistake, that I will put it right with the buyer. In this case someone is not owning up. The fact that it was sold on and by whom is largely irrelevant in this case. The second transaction has been rectified. I have on more than one occasion seen a problematic watch come back up the chain of transactions to the original seller. It's the case in closely knit trading communities and without this level of trust and guarantee, the whole thing becomes far more flimsy.

Looks like a £130 lesson can be the cost of someone's reputation.
