I'm guessing not really. The SMPc with the smooth dial are easy to find and there probably 100's of 1,000's out there. It's no more of a collectible than the generation before the SMPc.

Wasn't really a fan of ther 6 o'clock date at first, but now it's better that way for symmetry.

Wave dial is iconic. Welcome back.

Thought these did have a display back? Unless something changed, the ones at Baselworld did.

As a bigger guy, glad they went from a 40 to 42mm.

All in all, the two tone on a bracelet is a stunner. The gray wave dial on rubber is great too.

The Sedna gold on the black is mesmerizing. I think the reception is going to be better than the initial reviews.

Its a good looking watch and at a great price

Im suprised this hasn’t had any attention on here, i know its a rolex/tudor forum but given how many omega owners there is on here i would have thought this update to the seamaster would have got more attention.

I for one think this is a great looking watch, the wave dial is a stunner and the rubber looks quality.

Never been a fan of omega bracelets but i am lookimg forward to seeing this watch in person

I think it's a great release. But owning so many older wave Smps...I prefer the old wave dial, older helium escape shape, and the 3 o clock date windows. So not enough yet to make me purchase and get excited...step in the right direction I call it.

I'm interested to see one in real life as well. Glad that they left Basel because if we can't see a watch released in a year until the next year presentation it's pointless.

I like almost everything about this new one better... except that the waves don't appear under the writing on the dial. I think that this would have made it a 10/10 update.

This is good. On my second rubber strap and bajilionth keepers on my 2500. I was buying aftermarket bracelets because Omega wasn’t selling keepers alone, but that has changed and you can buy loose keepers only. You realistically go through three sets of keepers before the main strap starts to crack.

I still feel the first version was the best of the planet ocean. I am thinking now that 45.5mm was a bit larger although it is easy to read... from across the room.

yes, rose gold, although there is a YG option as well..

the SS has white enamel in the numbers.. it is a total overhaul upgade, especially the bracelet - solid, and micro-adjusting clasp!

Well, REAL enamel is crushed colored glass that is rebelled on a surface.

Enamel paint is just paint yes. But it also comes in many grades- the Home Depot rattle cans are the low end and the paints that used to be used on cars is the other end.

No idea just answering the “enamel” question.

I’m looking forward to someone posting a good review. I’m very interested in the new SMP 300 blue with rubber strap. Overall I think Omega’s new updates on this model are positive.

This is a solid release. I never liked the 300m partly due to the scalloped bezel and the skeleton hands but this watch is an absolute knockout. I’m honestly struggling to pick holes in it. I read the omega forums and all I see is people moaning about a half millimeter increase in the height and width. The waves look great and I love the ceramic. Sapphire caseback, micro adjustable clasp and date at 6 are really nice features. Dare I say this ‘could’ be a genuine Submariner contender? The features would certainly suggest so.

Can’t wait to try one. It fits really well in between the PO39.5 and 43.5 and provides a proper versatile every day watch. The dial would also go really well with my dressier AT teak dial.

A note on the enamel, I watched a video saying the bezel is lazer etched then filled with enamel in a similar way to the liquid metal technique.
