1983 - 16750 acquisition inside — can I join the club?

MP5,
I love the original black. I only have the one original fat font black insert now, I made a trade.

I want to collect them all and swap around. Next will be a red back with correct font for the late 1983 early 1984 examples. The blue backs with fat font may be close to correct too from what I read.

Then:
- raspberry back preferably slightly faded to a lighter shade on front
- faded FF Blk similar to my orig
- anything I can afford that’s unique

Thanks for the kind words guys. The vintage watches are going to be addictive I can tell. Next is a 1680 or a Tudor Sub

am I alone in preferring a black insert on a GMT? Congrats - that one looks outstanding!

I put the original back on. I didn’t realize it had a dark grey/blue hue in the sun.

Here is the only way I could show what I meant.

Lately, I've grown very fond of a nicely faded GMT black insert. They are very appealing but aren't that readily found in "the wild."

Here is one of my favorites.
