Swiss - T <25 re lumed?

Do you think they have done a re lume on my gmt from 1997?
It has the tritium dail. But it stills glows in the dark.

And it seem like the lume on the 12 and 6 oclock are abit uneven.

I'm no expert but the way that the lume was applied to 12,6,9 looks a bit shoddy. Might've been relumed?

would have had to have been. any tritium applied in 1997 would have lume long gone by now.

Swiss - T <25 re lumed?

I’m not familiar with this reference, but I know luminova was used in the late 90’s which looks like it.

I blame it on autoconnect.

Does it glow without being exposed to light first ?

A U7***** serial watch is in the transition period from Tritium to Luminova, where the dials went from T<25 to SWISS to SWISS MADE. Some of the "left over" T<25 dials had Luminova applied in the transition period, so the dial could be period correct to the watch having T<25 markings but actually as in your case Luminova. I have a SWISS marked U78 16710 and have attached (hopefully) a shot of the bottom of the dial. Whilst not an exact comparison with your photo, you can see under significant magnification that the lume is not perfect.

Here is another example of a U# with
a tritium marked dial that behaves like
luminova. The pearl is completely dead
But the dial and hands glow briefly when exposed to light. I have no idea if it has been relumed or is original

The Tritium lume on a 1997 watch can still glow but it would be very dim at this point. The ways your’s is lit up is far to bright for the lume to be original.

If it glows like that after exposure to light, it is not tritium powered, it is photo-luminescent.
