strap tubes on a 183?

Many folks on the forum recommend using tubes with straps. I am being told, however, that one can't use tubes on a Radiomir/Pam 183? is that the case? thx.

That is correct. The Radiomir cased Panerais use a unique strap attachment system that won't accommodate the normal strap tube. The two halves of the wire loops do have, however, a tube that joins them.
