Daytona Price Drops
The Panda Daytona prices dropped by about 10k+ USD in China over the past 2 weeks. Shouldn't come as a surpise.. but do you think there are market manipulators pumping and dumping?

I haven’t seen it here yet. Staying pretty level at the moment. Demand still there, so still room for increasing…IMO

Once China dumps, everyone dumps. They own the majority of Rolex market. HK included. If you ask me, there is really no END USERS.. its all just dealers selling to each other.

It’s remarkable how the so called economists on this thread can make such assertions -

‘demand is still there, so still room for increasing’ - based on what? Is there an index somewhere feeding real-time transaction prices from AD’s and grey market dealers?

‘They (China) own the majority of the Rolex market’ - really? 400,000 to 500,000 units annually are sold in China? Talk about pulling numbers out of your @$$.

This is consistent with what I am hearing from my friends in China. I was told not only panda was dropping, green dial gold Daytona has also dropped in price.
