Should a Pastor of a church wear a Rollex

I wanted to start a different trend and this has always been on my mind. My pastor while growing up in the late 80s to mid 90s always wore a gold president Rolex. I would hear some people say that the money is going to his Rolex. I use to agree, but now that I am almost 40, I feel that a pastor is entitled to wear a Rolex. The Rolex could have been a present (love gift) or even from another business he owns. In the bible when you get someone saved you are rewarded a crown in heaven also God is our father so he wants us to have nice things. I am a father and I would want all my kids wearing a Rolex. I went to look up my old church and someone posted that the pastor wears a Rolex so he is money hungry and looks like a cheap sales person. I feel that no one should make fun of a pastor and he should be able to wear a Rolex.

He should be free to wear what he likes, but to a congregation, who might often be in need, I think a SS Rolex would be the better part of valour.

If he was wearing a Rollex, I can safely say it was a fake.

In all seriousness, why shouldn't he, and who cares really.

Should he offer the congregation a red colored drink in a plastic cup ............... run and run fast.

The Rolex is only one data point regarding the Pastor.

Did he also drive a Ferrari or live a frugal lifestyle?

Wearing a Rolex does not automatically mean a lover of money.

a church is a business, the sooner people realize this the sooner they dont have to worry about what the pastor wears or does. embezzlement doesnt even exist.
