Dilemma Squadra vs Standard Reverso
Hi everyone. I need your view and input on this. I currently own a Reverso Squadra Hometime. I am not sure if I should consider it as a true Reverso as the case is more squarish in compare to the standard Reverso. However, I heard from Tim Mosso from Watchuwant that the Squadra case ratio is actually true/closer to the original sketch. I am thinking if I should get a piece of a standard Reverso just to complete my collection. But, in many ways, it would be a duplicate. I understand that Squadra is sportier and standard Reverso is more of a dress watch. What do you think? What should I do?

The Squardra Hometime is just another Reversp Variant, it's a little sportier than than the smaller size Reverso watches, but if you think about it, the original Reverso was a Sports watch, so this may be closer to the spirit of the first one.
Collectors have all different mentalities, and none of them logical. If you want another Reverso Variant for your "Collection" go for it, they are great watches, maybe go for a Gold ultra thin, it's more different than your current watch. |

The Squadra is probably closest to the original patent drawing
However the original Reverso looks different I think my TTR is a fantastic tribute |

I mean, they are both Reversos, so by definition, they are both true Reversos.
I'm not sure what you're asking, but maybe this helps. When people think of a Reverso, they are thinking of the classic one with the golden ratio. There also will be more extreme people out there, who think that you have bought the "wrong" Reverso. Whether you care is up to you. |

I think it all comes down to fit, as non round watches wear much differently. As such, I've always favored the rectangular case of the Reverso over the squadra. I also have the tt1931 with fagliano strap, and it's perfect

Squadra if you can pull it off. Not in production anymore and quite well executed

The black dial is definitely the one I'd pick, it's gorgeous
