Flip lock clasp (93250) rivet repair
Hi all,
New to the forum. Can the riveted bar that connects the flip lock to bracelet and clasp be repaired? Mine is genuine Rolex, though bought used for a 16760 "Fat Lady". Thanks! |

I sent mine to MY to have the flip lock repaired. I was missing both the lock and the rivet. Cost me a hundo. However, i would not have sent it there if that was all that was needed.....the shipping is costly. I packaged it with a few other items. You could try LA Watch Werks....likely they could do it for that or less and with less hassle with shipping.

Since you are new to the forum, Gina Marie sent hers to Michael Young in case you dont know what MY is. He is in Hong Kong. Do a search for his contact info.

Yes it can be replaced. I bought a pack of the pins and rivets on ebay years ago. If I can find them I'll send you a set and you can do it yourself using a hammer. Send me a PM and I'll try to dig them out and send you them in the mail.
you're profile says you're in MA so shouldn't be but a day or so for you to get it.

Any mall jeweler wearing a Rolex can probably pop a new rivet in for around $30. Only takes 5-min. I would not try it yourself you won't be able to shape the rivet head properly without the right tools.

Be careful what any "mall jeweler" uses. Make sure it is a true 1 piece rivet just like what Rolex uses and not one of those aftermarket 3 piece rivet pins. It will greatly decrease the bracelets value.
