Thanks to our TRF community
First off, a special thanks to BBL for gifting me a spot in the Batman Giveaway. He and a few others knew I was away for a spell. Also to Fr. John, Dr. Tom and others for their support...
The rest of this is not the thread I'd ever have guessed I might be writing. I've been away from TRF since early May. It was due to my wife unexpectedly slipping the surly bonds of this earthly existence after 2 weeks in ICU. So this is my first post since then - other than a couple of PMs. I know this is a better thing for her but it naturally leaves me wishing it had not been visited upon us. I'm not going down the rocky road of despair - just wishing this had come some 10 years hence. I'm back - at least in between the details of reshaping our family's lives. So - looking forward - my spirit is inclined to share one thought that is oft repeated - “Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us everyday.” It just has a fresh meaning now...
