Can you imagine the absolute horror of dropping/breaking a bottle of liquor that costs $35,000. If I drank from that bottle I would be distilling and recycling my urine.

That one bottle of Dailuaine looks like it is balanced half off the table

Can you get me an invite to his party?

Perfect timing, since I'm flying to the US in an hour

Wow those are some heavy hitters. Your buddy's store must do well. If he decides to have a party instead of selling them please get me on the invite list!

He wouldn't tell me who it was, meaning it was clearly a celebrity or a local sports icon. He does all the Patriots wine cellars and consulting.

I saw some $10,000 single malt for sale at COSTCO in Summerlin (Las Vegas) last month along some of the cheaper swill for only $6000. They also had a couple of Rolex's on display.

You will not get the full range of taste and smell of either if you combine cigars with fine spirits.

Just to put it in a working class perspective, I got my absolute grail bottle last month. You might remember it in In this thread he got 6 of them, as an afterthought I'm sure LOL

Plus it was the second least expensive bottle he bought

It is a great price, but you only get it if you buy the other stuff as we know
