Some random shots of friend's watches

Had lunch over at King Street wharf the other day. Caught up with a couple of school friends. Noticed one had a Tudor Black Bay on. Unashamedly asked if I could try it on and take a snap. Very nice watch. Vintage-look and very comfortable. However, I was surprised at how light the deployant clasp was though.

The other week I also caught up with my best friend and another from school. Noticed we all wore modern Rolex sports models. Tried to capture them all in one shot - I'm wearing the sub

Excluded is a Polar 16570 that my gf had on.

This was the first time I had seen a BLNR. The blue and black bezel looks very sporty, buy not as versatile as I would have liked. Though the GMT looks similar to the Sub, it's much thinner due to the flat back. A looker indeed

I admit, I can't rotate pics for the life of me.

Hope you all are having a great weekend.

Great pics! I wish I had friends that had rolexes... All my friends laugh at me for spending more than $200 on a watch

Same here, although I do have a few coworkers that have Rolexes.

The BB looks incredible in that first pic.

Most of my friends don't even wear watches! I can count the number of people I know on one hand that wear a Rolex (aside from here of course)

Same for me, none of my friends, even the ones who have money, are interested in nice watches, they don't care at all…

Very cool. I am with most here it seems. My friends wear my castoff fashion watches (citizen and Seiko) type pieces or no watch at all.
And I do not know even one that has anything close to a rolex. Maybe a Baume and Mercier in the crowd.
