Hi Guys,

does anyone know if a 97200 glidelock bracelet would fit on the new Daytona C? I'm curious to know if this is a modding option for those that prefer brushed centre links.

Based on if the 116500 uses the same case and end links as the 116520 then the glidelock bracelet ref:97200 will fit however the end link to case fitment isn't ideal, some movement and not flush.

The seemless option would be to fit just the glidelock clasp and either have a watch maker brush the Daytona links or stay with PCL and have the glidelock polished.

Yes would fit. You can also use other bracelets, such as 77200 from the Explorer 1 39mm, which is fully brushed and has the easylink just like the factory bracelet on the Daytona.

I have a 116610LN and this is a fantastic idea for when I do get a 116500!

Wouldn't the cheapest-and easiest-mod be to just have the D-500 bracelet brushed?

I agree with others. I think having the bracelet brushed is the best option. I hear it is quite easily reversible as well.

Offer up a fully brushed bracelet before having anything refinished!

On the likes of the GMT the fully brushed bracelet ties in nicely with the watch head due to the brushed lugs but as the Daytona has polished lugs it looks a little odd and IMO it's requires the lugs brushed as well.

I would brush the PCLs and the lugs topside. Then it's perfect

That's a good point and I'm not likely to touch the case.

x2! Rolex built it the way they intended. Just get the bracelet sized to fit your wrist.
