@mike - 60 min bezel - yes!!! I actually wouldn't mind a ceramic one.
The GMT-IIc is my ideal watch, but what would you think if Rolex re-introduced the Sea Dweller as basically a mini DEEPSEA, slightly smaller (maybe 41mm), thinner (lower profile), less text and clutter on the dial, but kept its domed crystal, glide-lock bracelet and amazing blue lume? Would that just be blasphemy to the tradition of the original Sea Dweller? Personally i'd get one if it came out.

Whoops, it still says "Date" on the dial.

That reminds me: since Rolex has been breaking traditions recently, I wish they would consider dropping "Date" from the line "Oyster Perpetual Date." Talk about stating the obvious. The actual date window is literally only a few millimeters away. (So that's what that is!)

Also, enough of "Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified." It's time. Just like it was time years ago to stop bragging about "Fuel Injection" on the backs of automobiles.

People have become so accustomed to all the writing that they're really wowed the first time they see, for example, a non-COSC 14060M.

I like the idea of returning to the red "Submariner." These watches would really benefit from a splash of color. I was glad to see "Explorer II" in orange in the spy shots of what might be next years' model.

I'd put money down for one today if they were going to do that.

That is exactly what I'm trying to describe. + maxi hands/dial. Just add matte dial and no engraved reahut.

I'm glad someone is with me on this.
