Obsessed with 26401RO

Help me with reasons why I should buy it and reasons to obsess over another AP to buy!

Btw my first AP.

Will not be my only watch.

Which one interests you the new dial or old dial?

There are only 2 reasons I would not endorse buying that watch.

1) don't have the money

2) your wrist is like 6" or less

Otherwise there is no reason not to own that watch

Buy it for its muscular majestic magnetic magnificence.

And what Tom said.

Perhaps have them throw in a Unicorn Frappaccinno with it also
Don't ask me why, but I have been fixated on that disgusting looking beverage (is it a beverage?) these past couple days.

Except i would say if your wrist is smaller than 6.75" I wouldn't buy it. Its pretty big.

I saw Rory McIlroy wearing his old one a few months ago. Many years after his deal with AP is gone. I remember seeing him wear it the first time after 11 us open at Congressional.

Financially, I can afford it and wrist size not a problem 7''

Both models look good to me just have to go try one on.

What's not to love. It is a great watch especially in a rotation with others.

SOLD! There are no reasons not to own this watch

For me the prior dial is so balanced it would be hard to pass on. The new one is a bit more sporting and modern but the first dial just has the balance that I think* is needed on such a piece.

*I haven't seen the new dial live

-Brandon you may be right but I decided to draw the line where it starts to look ridiculous. Adhering to the rules ain't for everyone

The new dial is really really good in real life, pictures do not capture it the way it looks in person, most of the pictures don't show how it contrasts with the watch. Better, IMHO (with respect to old dial owners. Purely preference, two colors in watch or three) Can't go wrong with either!
and.. not enough pictures are out there because not many people have it. Should receive mine any day now, after clearing customs. Was a very hard choice with both on the table, but I went with the 02 dial

What's not to like? Both 26401 RG are outstanding but here's the better of the two.

Obviously, it's purely preference between the new dial and the old dial. I was contemplating which dial to choose when the new all black dial was announced at SIHH in January. In the end, I picked up the old dial and I've honestly worn the watch every single day since I've received it. My other timepieces (Panerai, IWC) have been sitting in their cases unworn. From the ceramic to the gold to the rubber strap to the different finishes throughout, theres something truly amazing about this watch. Not to mention, it's insanely comfortable on the wrist. I know it's obvious, but count my feedback as another obvious recommendation to get the watch! Best of luck to you on your search and decision!

Commit. Then give us the pictures. You have the best AP under 40k (unless you paid full price, then I retract my statement).

Well actually I can't decide if this is better than the 15407. That is an extremely tough decision that I was going back and forth with but chose the 44mm solely because I wanted some gold.
