Best thread I have seen in a long, long time. The great importance you give to your wife and daughters well being is so evident. I wish you continued happiness with your family. Grail watch? I hope sometime in the future to see some wonderful photos on your "incoming thread." But if not? Well, no worries.

As said above, you already have not one, but 2 grails! If the meteorite Daytona comes eventually (sincerely hope will eventually come 😊) would be just a material object that would bring you joy for sure, but nothing compare to the love of your family!

the "grail" watch is bullsh1t. F the grail. it's a psych defect marker when people go on and on about grails. your wife and daughter are real.

Hope your family is doing better. Watches are just a hobby and with any hobby IMO take a back seat to what's really important.

On the note of watches and the meteorite, it is one of my favorite pieces as well and I really wish Rolex was still producing it (at least I'm not aware of them producing). I'm holding out hope for a WG Daytona C on an Oysterflex with a Meteorite dial and black sub-dials...

i am encouraged to see all the prayers going up from this community!

"Heavenly Father, place your healing hand on this family. Lord, you are the Great Physician and we entrust to you the healing of this Mother and daughter. Give our friend the strength to endure during their time of healing. Amen."

Caretaking is the toughest job. Hang in.
