Only rolexes I care about are the new yg day date, subc, gmtc, and skydweller. Daytona is cubicle boring.

White gold is pointless. So is platinum. Don't like plain steel. Fan of tt and yg.

I much prefer SS to TT, but if I was going to go TT, it would likely be the "bluesy." I like the sunburst dial but think I like the older smurf blue dial on this particular reference just a little better.

Don't like the Daytona and beleive most owners know Speedmaster is the real SS Chrono with a better history
Large Rolex 42+ look crass and play up to the stereotype that owners of rolex are brash and boastful
Suspect many people on TRF love their rolex more that their partners

Even I love my BLNR to pieces, I think that from all modern Rolex watches, only the Explorer II, is keeping the old Rolex charm, no ceramics, just a steel bezel. True tool old fashioned watch.

Share your unpopular Rolex opinion(s).

Your all haters. The 6700 I spent on an IWC in 2008 is worth 2500-3000. If I used that same money to buy a GMT id get my money back no problem.
That's why Rolex is the best

Ahhh. I can never miss an opportunity to ruffle feathers. Here goes...

Ive never liked any yellow gold Rolex in my life (that includes any TT)

The Explorer 2 does nothing for me.

The date just is 1000x better looking than the day date

I don't get the Pepsi hype. Much rather have my BLNR or a coke

I prefer the YM proportion (slimmer profile and lugs) to the Sub

The deep-sea dweller is comically big, and unless you are Andre the Giant, it looks comical on you as well.

Haha this is amazing to read, turned out much better than I expected. So anyway it seems that between us we just about hate everything about Rolex

Also I think we may have found a winner for "unpopular opinion":

They don't currently make a model that I'd purchase, but I'd choose the Oyster Perpetual in 36mm if forced.

Submariner is a bit of a cliche.

Your kids probably won't value these watches like you do.

These are in No Way real investments

When I see a black Subc in the wild, I wonder why the owner decided not to put any though into his Rolex purchase. It is a great looking watch in my opinion but it's popularity kills it for me.

I can't stand the BLNR due to it's popularity around here

They will tank like pocket watches within 30 years.

Rolex would be a better brand without the DateJust.

Rolex is struggling financially but is putting on a nice face by pretending supply-side restriction equals demand.

Two-tone watches are sinfully ugly.

Amen.

A steaming pile of a race course in a meaningless race in Florida or a watch worn on the flipping moon?

I don't get the hype around the "Batman" GMT. The black and dark blue combo does nothing for me!

I wish Rolex should make more variations of their sports watches and less of their jewelry style watches.

3 variations of SS Daytonas should be made along with a small production increase to make closer to some other professional models and an increase in MSRP by a few K

Time to drop the super wide lugs and make models slightly more classically styled. Big watch fad is over

Return the Milgauss to tool focused watch

Offer a 3rd GMT Master SS variation with brushed links

Make a Hulk or Bluesy variation of the Sub no date model in SS

I dislike the stereotypes that accompany the wearing of a Rolex

I believe all daytonas are feminine and insignificant
