INCOMING...the legend
Hello watchfam,
Just picked up this beauty and it is seriously incredible! Was debating back and forth between the PP 5167 and AP 15202. In the end, I think I made the right choice. Would love to hear long term 15202 owners thoughts, still in love? Cause I sense some staying power with this one Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Still loving mine after 5 years...
Bought mine in 2012 when they first came out. Mine is the first of the run (H Series) when the dial was more gray than today's blue.
Got it to celebrate my sons birth of the same year and some day I will give it to him. I still enjoy wearing it very much and often. Whether you get tired of it will be your own personal decision, the design is now going on 45 years so it has withstood the test of time. |

The definitive Royal Oak and a must have for any AP collector. Well chosen and congrats! Wear it in good health.
And yes, own it for several years and my favourite AP of the whole bunch ( and I got many ). Can't make any lesser statement.

Great question, I did consider the 15400, bit my wrist is only 6.75 - 7 inches and it was huge on me. Even though it is "only listed" as a 41 mm. It wears much larger. Additionally, the case and bracelet are much thicker, wasn't really a fan. Lastly, the jumbo feels a lot more special . But honestly can't go wrong if you want the 15400, still a great RO! More photos with the blue crew! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Congrats very nice, I chose a 15300 blue dial because I found a blue 15300 unworn and thought it was cool to find one never worn, plus the fact I have 3 ultra thin PP made me happy to get a little thicker, but if to be honest the coolest is probably the 15202 and totally agree about the 15400, nice watch but the Jumbo kills it in my book, the proportions are just perfect, while I find the 15400 just too big for a plain dial. With the FPJ that makes a hell of a blue pair

In every shot the 15202 is the first to grab the eye. It just does't get any better and more timeless. Its a benchmark, and now you have it! Congratulations and well done.

looks amazing, congrats. i was all but convinced on the 15400, and seeing more and more images of the jumbo are making me strongly reconsider.
two questions: 1 - is the blue on the jumbo a different shade than the blue on the 15400? does the dial 'shine' as much as the 15400's? 2- did u get urs at the boutique? if not, mind sending me a PM re: ur seller/source? |

Make sense! Glad your back. Shouldn't your voutilainen be coming in soon? Also, just curious what's your 3 ultra thin PP? I'm guessing 5711, 5167, what's the third? Quote:
Truly is a benchmark and made the high end sports watch segment I love the combo Quote:
Thank you so much! Appreciate it! Every since your introduction to swissfinetiming I have been looking into APs Get it now before they become hard to find like the 5711 Truly wonderful Thanks Thomas! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |
