126710BLNR - my one and only Rolex (at least for now)

I’m not in the academic field so my PhD has less value than my BLNR. Would have been better off spending the money on that degree buying some PM subs.

When I was in college, the last thing I would have ever done or thought about was buying a Rolex. Worked all the way through and studied. There was no time or money for watches. And a SS DJ was about $400 USD new back then. Whole lot of money.

Despite a medical degree, the most I ever learned in a single class was economics 101. Not surprisingly, it reminded me of psychology 101.

This might the silliest thread yet on TRF. It’s a new low or just way too much boredom going on around here

I have multiple diplomas from the Marine Corps and US Army in destroying targets using air, naval, and ground assets. I wear a 1680 Submariner in White. My occupational schools were quite intensive and classes were explosive by their very nature.

I first received an Associate of Science Degree in Marine Diving Technology (Commercial Diving) then after some years a BS degree in Manufacturing Engineering and I have owned a lot of Seadwellers, Submariners and GMT's and one Deepsea. These are what I currently own.

Yes sir. Go Johnnies. I have to say, College tuition is out of control. Something needs to be done to curb the COST.

We need to start a “ Student Loan Debt, and your Rolex.” Tread. Nobody helped me pay for college. It took me a loooooong time to pay off my student loan. What’s funny is, my SS DateJust, and SS Submariner Date don’t get much wrist time. My Sarb033, and my favorite, a Casio DW5600-BB are the watches I wear most of the time.
