Size the Bracelet

Hi All

Is there a correct way to size a watch?

I know how to remove the links and so forth and have the correct 1.8mm tool.
My watch is factory fresh and it appears I have to remove only one link to get it to fit but I don't know what side of the clasp to take it from or indeed if there is a known method.

Thanks

Usually, I take a link from the 6 o’clock side of the watch. That normally helps to centre the head of the watch on your wrist.
