Pam931 ?

Any PAM931 owners here ?

Would like to see some wrist shots please with an idea of the size of your wrists, and any thoughts you have on it.

Dealers in NL don't have it in stock but have found one on Chrono24 I quite like the look of.

Thanks in advance
FC

16.5cm wrists. I have a 45mm Destro which I love.

Went to pick up a watch for my wife from service today and was talking to the assistant about watches and mentioned I'd like to try a PAM931.
He popped down the road to his Panerai dealership and after 2 cups of coffee presents a PAM931 and PAM2020 45mm Paneristi edition.

Forgot to take pictures stupidly . . . Loved the dial colour and lighter strap on the PAM2020, but the PAM931 was even better in person. Sunburst dial is amazing, case almost looks like titanium with its dull patina. On the wrist it's big for sure but certainly did not look ridiculously huge - even the wife liked it !

I'd like to trade an IWC I have not worn for it - so just waiting for the offer, but really is a stunner.

Just picked this up a couple days ago after being struck by another member’s post. Hard to capture the dial color in a picture.

Just to add, i dont know my wrist size but it’s pretty large. I also love the lack of any branding on the dial. It is my 5th panerai (not counting my wife) so i was really into something different.

Looks great…love the blue on the hands! Is the case brushed? I can’t tell from the photo.

Yes - it is a brushed stainless - some kind of vintage looking finish. Hands are great and they obviously stand out given the size the dial and lack of any other hands/dials/writing. Also has probably the only original strap I will not swap. Rough cut on the edges and super soft and thick - cushion to it. The most comfortable strap of any I have from Panerai. Super happy with it.

Stunning piece - thanks for sharing.

I was thinking about an orange Panerai rubber strap - be awesome for the summer !

I might have to consider this one as my next PAM. Love the wire lugs!

I have to confess that I have always been enraged by California dials, they have just always seemed so ridiculously strained and precious to me, but this dial is talking to me in a good way. The fact that there is precedent for it in Panerai's history gives it context and the lack of logos and all the uncluttered open real estate on the antiqued dial is elegant in a way I don't have words for. This watch makes me question my previous biases and that's a good thing. I could enjoy owning this.

I wish i knew how to post a video. Hard to explain the dial if you haven’t seen it in person. The color changes significantly under the domed plexi depending on lighting and angle. I also had to research the california dial before buying and had no idea of its brief military history.

Looks really good on your wrist — not too big at all. I ended up getting the 2020 Paneristi because the 45mm size is doable for my wrists —especially with wire lugs. If the CA dial had been available in a 45mm version, it would have been my clear choice.

Congrats

Thanks. Hard to go wrong with that choice.

I measured my wrist to try to aid your sizing to my picture. I came up with 20 if I did it correctly. I also received the XL version of the strap today, which fits me much better (and learned swapping a wire lug strap is a little more difficult - especially if you don't mind those little screws!).
