From a while ago but still have them both.

They are on a cardboard tube...just so nobody thinks I have really really weird forearms.

How do you like the black TT Sub? I’ve been considering this or the Bluesy to add to my collection.

Honestly I was myself on the fence over the black or bluesy and I saw both in the flesh and while the 2 are great choices I loved the black a lot, the YG contrast with black dial is stunning and even more in person to my humble opinion. Hope it helps!

Yes it is. I was lucky enough to grab one early on before prices sky rocketed!
It seems to continue to rise as it’s now called “the historic skipped olympics”
The size, dial, and no PCL make it a lot more wearable to me than the daytona
Don’t get me wrong, the daytona is a beautiful watch but I personally prefer the omega more in this case!

Lucky you - well done!! I didn’t know about the Tokyo until recently, and then it was too late to buy ine at an AD (via friends in Japan). So, I had to bite the bullet and pay current market value. At least I got my D from an AD so I can’t complain too much!

The Tokyo has totally become the watch I wear the most, but predominantly because I find it less prone to being scratched than my C-Daytona, the panda dial, seems sturdier (although I’m prob wrong as both as prob just as strong), and as a result I’m less paranoid with it. I have to say I personally think the D is still prettier and has been my grail for a long time (and still is), but the Tokyo is my daily in preference to all my other watches, inc the D, and it’s a stunningly beautiful watch nevertheless.

A colleague from work last week saw it during a zoom call we were having and asked me if I was wearing a panda Tokyo. I nearly fell off my chair. Eagle eyed and clearly well informed!
