Tudor should add date option for Black Bay 58!

Tudor BB41 is big diver watch and perfect throwback to vintage inspiration. With 39mm, Bb58 is perfect daily wear, more so with their new Blue 58. I think Tudor is missing out huge customer base by not keeping the date. If they add date to this 39mm size, it'll be perfect daily wear and will beat out all the competition of Aqua terra and other similar priced watches. If they don't want to add date, why not offer in 2 options - date and no date? I know Rolex is conservative in their choice but should let Tudor continue to play open field and offer 2 options for every customer and let them pick and it'll be truly worth it!

Your thoughts?

I guess Tudor is trying to avoid cannibalization, if you want the date Tudor hopes you to buy the Pelagos.

I wonder, does the date potentially add thickness? Maybe at this price point it’s not economical to develop or produce.

I suspect they will, but they’ll milk sales first....

If there was a blue 58 with a nice little date window, I’d be first in line

Let’s be real......the markup on this thing is astronomical.... if they wanted to add a date they could

Never!

I think BB58 is a tribute to the model created in 1958. Did that vintage model have date?

Date because I just bought a 114060 and feel it would be redundant to get another no date diver.

Yes other watches models like 1926, Style, Glamour, Lol.

Black Bay is the only model selling in Tudor and they have so many variations of them. Like it or not, Date will come in 39mm sooner or later!

I don't like the date windows on modern Tudor watches at all, so please just keep them no date. I'd love a better looking date window, but given what is on the GMT...I'm not holding my breath.

I said it once and will say it again. A date is always a useful function and those that say they always remember the date are flat out lying. Watches are for function, and a date only increases its utility. This is especially true for those of use that don't feel the need to to be tethered to our cell phones. Having a date increases the utility of the BB.

Outside of WIS, regular crowd always prefers to have date watches. Why spend $4k and then not have date on the watch? Only WIS crowd is crazy about no date watches citing symmetry, vintage throwback and all! Same with Submariner. Only WIS buys no-date Sub, majority always buys the Sub date!

Lol totally agree. I mean one can forget the date very quickly during vacations, retirement, etc.

Nope. That one was even manual wind!

This watch doesn’t need a date.

They already have the option... a Pelagos.
I'm sure in person there is a vast difference, but in pictures they are similar watches!
