New Rolex Question

Hi Everyone,
As you know I purchased my wife a SS Datejust last month and today, she took off her watch and had strange residue on her wrist from the watch. I know it is real, any ideas?

Her wrist is clean

Excuse my asking, but was the watch purchased New, or Preowned. If preowned, there is possibly dirt in the links, it's happened to me a few times, after swimming the dirt would come out. Bought an ultrasonic, and fixed that..

Could be the oil from the bracelet and/or hand lotion, soap, shampoo or any other innocuous substance.

The AR actually took of the clear sticker when the links were taken out. He told my wife, it will harbor bacteria.

Yup. I have experienced the same thing and believe it's oil from the links. As stated a couple of washings and it's gone.
