The Avenger collection has been taken off the website. Click the link and it takes you to a page with no watches.

Well, that’s super disappointing, if that’s actually it. Already looks 15 years old.

The photo is on the official Breitling page

Me, I like a lot more the old cases and styles of Avanger line
Also I see this one lost the wings also

I'm not one to be negative about anything new a brand might release, but the new Avenger line hasn't quite done it for me. They got the thickness right (12,1mm) on the 42mm version. The price has been set to entry level for the 42mm one, but will need further analysis to see if its justified. To be honest, the models I care most about right now are the Premier, Classic Avi and the SOH. The other IMO need some more work.

New collection release 1st November

This one from
Wus

Not my cup of tea, I. Don’t like that type of pushers on the avanger case, they look good on B-1 case but that’s a different story

I have to agree. Is it me or does the design look dated already? Then whats the update? New movement and pricing strategy behind the release?

I find the gmt versions look like my explorer 2 but less interesting.

It does look a dated design, I agree. It's good to see solid end links and what appears to be a new clasp. I look forward to the full launch as here in the UK it's still not up on the Breitling site

They're keeping the avenger as a bit of a link back to the Schneider era models so I guess they were always going to look like a bit of a throwback to Breitling of 15-20 years ago.

This is cleaner and less busy than most of the eras designs though. I look forward to seeing the rest of them.

Maybe. I will withhold judgement until I get the details on cost, movements, availability, etc. I like the color of the tan and green Chrono's from the pictures.

The Avenger and the true professional models have always had a "dated" retro feel to them. Utility-wise, they are extremely similar to Breitling's other models like the Chronomat. My opinion here is that the "sell" should be the price point.

Breitling is just brining the Avenger collection in line with the rest of their vintage inspired designs using the same movement with some size reduction. Nothing wrong with that. I still think Breitling is miles ahead of where they were even five years ago, but I don't think this was intended to be a showstopping release.

Prices for the three-handed Breitling Avenger Automatic 42 models are $4,600 USD on a strap or $4,850 USD on a bracelet, while the Avenger Automatic GMT 44 watches are priced at $5,250 USD on a strap and $5,500 USD when buyers opt for the stainless steel bracelet. As for the Breitling Avenger B01 Chronograph 44 watches, the stainless steel models cost $8,000 USD on a strap or $8,250 USD with a matching bracelet, while the Night Mission models are priced at $9,300 USD for the yellow dial example or $9,500 USD for the version with the forged carbon dial.

They’re using that movement with a 38hr power reserve in the three hander again. Inexcusable really.

I like some of those but not enough to actually buy them or even to go view in person. For me it makes me appreciate what I already have and miss the wings logo.

Either way I'm sure many will like these. If my mind ever did change I would totally be looking pre-owned.

I’m disappointed as well. I was expecting something much better. In my opinion it’s 6/10.
