So does anyone definitely know if UK 16710’s came with green serial tags with a suffix at some point or did they all just show 16710? Thanks

There's no such thing as definitive here. As you can tell by the last 62 posts

The 16710 was discontinued in 2007 with introduction of the caliber 3186 movement so M- and Z- serial numbers, but possible some M serials could still have the cal 3185.

Haha! This is a true statement. But it seems to be that in some year range ( maybe with newer T cases ) that UK watches had a suffix added? I believe someone here has already said they own one? But the 16710LN tag seems to be more prominent.

if they said 16710LN it was a solid black bezel model on manufacture

Did Rolex only use the letter identification in the States?

I was my understanding that Rolex would change dials, bezels, bracelets etc. if the model in question was produced in that configuration.

Is this still true?
By around 1998, there were letter designations in the USA for the bezel insert colors - found on the warranty paper and green hang tag.

mine is a Z series 16710 so is a coke bezel model

as above i am not sure it really matters

it is not possible in the UK at least to pop in to your local AD and ask them for a coke bezel to go with the pepsi you have as they will only sell you a new replacement on exchange for the one you have in the original colour that was on the watch - at least on the 3 occasions i have asked UK AD's i have been told the same

new rolex bezels are on sale on the forum in all colours for the 16710 but at $400 a pop if memory serves me correctly

I have a Z series rectangular dial and is Pepsi????????

From my understanding M (2007) are fitted with the 3186.

Only on Z (2006-2007) you can find 3185 (produced 2006) or 3186 (produced 2007).

Another option is go to an independent repair shop with a Rolex parts account. You can just get your bezels there.
