The answer is always Rolex Sub! If you run into financial hardship you can get out of it without losing.

Sub Date black. I would say GMT, but near impossible to get at an AD with no prior history. Depending on location, I believe a sub is still something you can get on a “list” for, and purchase within a year or so. Unless something change with supply and demand for sport steel models, you can’t go wrong with any of them on a resale standpoint. Hope this helps!

Sub, GMT, or Explorer if you hurry.

Submariner. I’d say GMT too, but you probably can’t get one.

Sub ND would be the easier choice to get at ADs and it looks great too.

You might have to wait for 1-6 months but at least it’s more obtainable.

Here's a watch that you can wear on a night out on the town and you can put the other $9800 into a real investment.

I asked where to put $10k over on Mootly Fool and they told me to buy a watch.

If you can get one of the Professional SS models that other posters have mentioned at MSRP then do so.
However, if you cannot and have no relationship with an AD, think of another brand like Cartier. Many of these models can be had at a discount. Because if you demand a SS Rolex now, you will have to go the the grey market and you start paying over msrp and now you are outside of your budget. Good luck.

Well, I guess the question is moot.
