I observed from the outer fluted, they are sometimes looks a bit different from: the shape, the dome, the slope. But all that matters are the inner diameter and the thickness. So the question remain and need some expert to answer please...

I guess the other question would be is the watch in question plexi or sapphire? I imagine that changes things too shape wise.

I can't vouch for the quartz models, but the day-date and datejust automatics are indeed interchangeable but, I believe, only saphire-saphire and acrylic-acrylic.
