Pleasant Surprise
While out of town for work this past week, I got a VM from my AD stating to call them back. My mind went racing through my wish list..Aquanaut, daytona, gmt. I called them back after the meeting I was in, to be pleasantly surprised she had a Bruce Wayne (or whatever we're calling this one now days ) for me. Love the very comfortable jubilee bracelet on a professional/sport watch, which is a nice change from oysters on other watches. Also love the vibrant blue. I know the pepsi colors have more history, but I just love the look of this one. I think it adds good contrast to existing collection, but I think I need to sell one or two now. The Monaco is my favorite Tag, and I love motorsports, but I may sell it? Thoughts? Thanks and hope everyone has a great week.

I would sell a damn thing. Your collection is outstanding. You need a bigger box or a multi head winding cabinet if you really want to go all out.

Great collection. I noticed none of the other 11 watches are set (assuming the BLNR is set). Give them more love. So lonely in that box.

I wouldn't mind adding an aquanaut or pilot just to have a patek, but for the most part ap and pp styling just isn't my cup of tea. Great watches but I personally need to like the aesthetics.

I think the Aquanaut is overrated. So is the Nautilus but I like it for it’s relative thinness and bracelet like feel. I really tried to fall in love with this pilot but the big one looked too big on me abs the smaller one looked to small.

Nice addition I’d probably get rid of the omegas.
The tag is nice due to square case and heritage. |

Sell a Calibre 11? No chance. It's as different as it is horological significant. On my arm it's remarkably comfortable too - once I got the clasp position just right.
But that's just me. Special and sentimental value aside, you should keep what you love and wear and sell what you don't. Congratulations on the BLNR. It's a great watch. I unexpectedly had a chance to buy one last year and was struck by how much better it looks in real life than photos. I passed and let it go to a home who would better appreciate it. My reward awaits me tomorrow. |

great collection.
congratulations on the new addition. i would not get rid of the tag as this is a great model which is undervalued at the moment. i think it will skyrocket in price soon if you were looking at letting anything go i would suggest the time only omega |

Tomorrow I collect my BLRO on Oyster.
(In July 2020 I was dropping off a Z Blue for repair and the Rolex buyer said they had just received a really good allocation delivery. I asked if there was any possibility of getting a BLRO (well, if you don't ask you don't get, right?). I had a TT CHNR and had retrospectively fallen for the BLRO, which I thought would be a good companion for my TT. I nearly fell over when he went to the vault and came back with a SS GMT Master. As it came out of the coffin I was trying to stop my outstretched hand from shaking! It was beautiful. It was more beautiful than I ever imagined. And it was a BLNR. I thanked him, politely declined and asked very nicely if he would put me on the list for the BLRO. It was long but I could wait if I knew one was coming. In January they rang me to ask which bracelet I wanted. That reassured me that my slot was real but I didn't expect to see any outcome for another couple of years at minimum. Got the phone call last Friday afternoon. I could have gone in right away, but the guy we usually deal with, and who offered me the BLNR isn't in until tomorrow. I want to thank him personally and give him a little something.) Anyway, back to the original thread. Sorry Blake. And congratulations again on the BLNR. You can't go wrong with a GMT Master. |

You called this a Bruce Wayne? Is this Instagram chat or something?
It’s called a Rolex GMT Master 126710BLNR. Congrats on your new GMT Master. |
