I love a Day-Date on a high-quality leather NATO for a super-casual look. It must have the matching silver or gold hardware, though.

It is thin... I think of it as more of a dress watch strap (similar to what comes on a PP Calatrava or similar dress watch) but I like it. Think it works well with the DD
