They could at least move the one on the right over to the other two - save their customers a bit of eyeballing.

Manager: Could you re-arrange the Rolex display, make it look a little fuller, a little more sumptuous.

Salesperson: Errrmm...

I think they would be closing or opening the store at the time of making the photo, when they close they place the clocks in the safe. No AD has a showcase that way.

Had a similar experience in Manchester when I was there at opening and I asked when they are putting the stock in the window and he said "We have"
Same picture haha

It looks like supermarket shelves when a hurricane is on the way.

London AD's have similar displays and IMO it looks awful to have empty stands in the window. Change the display if there are no watches, but that just looks bad.

It's fun to see that some people defend a company that does not deliver.

Have it been another company so have it been bashing time. :chuc kle:

Just when I think Rolex can not do any more to push customers away they out do themselves. I expect more from them and that is probably my problem.

Sad but this is how it is I guess.
I agree they should change up the display. It does look like "here are our leftovers".

Tough times, but good to be holding onto a watch worth its price.

This is what Panerai displays looked like before the wheels fell off. Obviously, this will not happen to Rolex for many reasons, but it brings back memories.

It's certainly a unique approach to retail marketing/display.
One wonders whether someone actually thought about how this looks or whether it just sort of ended up this way.
The YM way out on the side may be a clue to what is going on. Nobody arranges a window display that has only one watch (I'm seeing this display in two parts) and then puts it on one edge. Human nature is to place it in the middle.
Maybe it is in the process of being 're-arranged'.

The irony of this to me is I recall when my local dealer was squeezed out a few years ago because of the amount of floor space and inventory Rolex was requiring them to keep...Kind of like Gibson Guitars....

Also a nice touch using the Titanic like image in the display to add to the vibe
