I recently took delivery of a 718 Cayman that I built. When the car arrived, I had the right to turn it down if I didn't like the way it drove, the color combination, or basically any other reason. I was told my deposit would just be refunded or applied towards whichever car I wanted to purchase. The car I built would go on the lot to be sold like any other Porsche arriving from the factory.

Agreed! I think you made out alright with your new Boxster :) Prefer the last gen for the flat 6, and actually the looks as well!

Very nice! I had a similar interior in a BMW 540 with six speed. Very sporty interior, and very nice looking. Hope it is -- and you are -- faring ok in the storm.

Ah the thread re-appeared. Yes and thank you sir! We were SPARED to say the least. People just a bit to the west have had it very rough. It's rained for a week straight so today I took him out to stretch his legs.

Great news!

I saw your thread on the original build -- that metallic blue, right? Then happened to notice this one today. I only recently "discovered" the Open forum.
