Datejust 16233 U serial

I have really come to love the Datejust. I have had a few come and go for one reason or another, they weren't quickset- a pain! Anyway, I have been looking around, not exactly sure what configuration I want, but just the other day, Saturday, I visited my watch repair shop in Flushing, NY Chinatown. He doesn't sell high end stuff and his booth is very modest and so is he. He mostly changes batteries and bands and has people lined up all day! He has been great with repairs and service for me. I was picking up my Sub which he was regulating and wanted a few bracelets changed and sized. Well, he was wearing this one, and it is mine now. No lug holes. There were enough links on it to comfortably fit my 7 1/2" wrist, the condition is pretty good, and the accuracy has been amazing. Oh, he got my 14060 N serial sub to about 3 sec/day!

I really love the Datejust model. They are very comfortable and light to me. I guess that's why they've been around for awhile. I have NO trouble with the size of 'em. I rate my new one a classic combination, though maybe a little bit more formal than I was aiming for. There may be some others coming!

I am having trouble getting pictures uploaded, I haven't been on for awhile, has the sizing changed?

Congrats! That's a classic. I have the same one, with lug holes. You can't beat the comfort of that watch.

I have not been into this stuff all that long, but along the way, in my journey, some nice watches have come and gone. But I feel I have finally hit on the model I really dig, maybe the most, the Datejust. Thank you!
