Pic posting....help!

Dear TRF

I have been trying to post pictures after the server update from my US phone, but even at the smallest resolution/size, pictures are too large to post...any advice?

yeah the size restrictions have changed, I know Steve and Paddy said it's the same as always but in practice it has changed.

Plenty of free resize picture apps for the Iphone that are very simple to use just adjust picture to around 1000X1000 pixels

I know the rule is 1000x1000, but that size has kicked back several times. Try 900 on the long side and let the app autoselect the short side. That seems to work more reliably.

Well even 900 pixels will give a perfect image if the original is nice and sharp, and this size is perfect for all internet forums.

What is best a custom Rolex or a Rolex that is stuck in custom?

Buy a professional camera and you´re a professional

G-Man, you may be able to reset the image parameter before taking the shot. A pain, I know, if some of the images you take may be wanted at a higher resolution.

My first phone took a medium image at 640x480. Now a medium shot is 3264 x 2448 (I changed the format ratio recently. Works out better for cropping and the blog).
