Icon17 Rolex wall clocks, outdoor rolex clocks, made by rolex?

I am talking about clocks like these, or are they designed by rolex and manufactured by another company?

I wondered this as well - I saw a ton of these in Vegas. My guess is since it bears the Rolex name it must be made by Rolex, but that's just a guess.

I think most of these run on electricity. Maintenance on these would be bugger all. Enter Hong Kong airport and you see a flood of them all over the place!!

Which comes to another question, does rolex pay people to have them displayed or do they have to be bought from rolex?

Hmmm......good point.

I can only confirm with certainty that the large wooden DJ look alike displayed inside the showroom is sent to the AD from Rolex free of charge and for display purposes only.

The one on the outside? Well, from the two dealers we have here in Auckland, Mansor's does not have one hanging outside; but the other AD - Partridge Jewellers - from whom I purchased my TT Blue Sub, does have this clock. I'll ask them tomorrow morning and let you guys know.

Cheers - JJ
